Training has been organized for the employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) by the team of the international rating agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds of Great Britain.

The aim of the training was to raise the QS rating of the university to higher levels and support its recognition in the global environment.

Narmin Alakbarova, the head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management of BEU, informed the participants about the direction and nature of the training to be carried out by the trainers (Dara Bukhtoyarova, coordinator of consulting projects of the agency and consultants Habib Fardoun, Nilly Castaño, Zaeem Siddiqui).

Then the trainers who made presentations gave information about the design of QS ratings, the rating methodology, the necessary points, main criteria and main areas taken into account during the determination of the ranking of universities. Moreover, issues such as the alignment of relevant qualifications with the qualifications of other prestigious universities, partnership in this field, and strengthening of scientific research activities were considered.

The training continued with detailed answers to the questions of BEU employees by the training team of QS agency.
