The first online session of Google Developer Student Clubs at Baku Engineering University(BEU) has been held.
Kanan Yusubov, head of the local DSC branch and graduate student of Computer Engineering Department of the University, gave information about the developer student clubs, which was formed by Google every year with the election of certain leaders and operated at universities. He said that the club aimed to bring together university students, people interested in the club, high-level developer students, as well as to establish communication between them, work on a project, hold events and contribute to the knowledge of these students. Noting the structure of the team, Kanan Yusubov provided with the information about the general activity directions. The head of the club emphasized that by joining the global project, students would have the opportunity to directly cooperate, communicate and benefit from the experience of leaders working in various universities around the world.
Elchin Yusubov, head of the Innovation Center of BEU, faculty advisor of the club, said that the project was implemented in our country for the first time. He added that a special room was allocated at the University for the team to be formed and equipped with the necessary computer equipment. Elchin Yusubov thanked the University administration for its support in establishing the club at BEU and wished success to the team.
