Today is the 97th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the prominent political figure, National Leader of the Azerbaijani people.

The Great Leader did unprecedented work in the modern history of Azerbaijan. The period of Heydar Aliyev became the golden period of Azerbaijan's history, culture, science and education. The great son of the Turkic world also created a strong school of statehood. Heydar Aliyev was a leader who skillfully overcame the most complex and contradictory historical processes, did not lose his patience even in the most difficult situations, and realistically assessed the geopolitical changes in the world and accurately calculated the interests of his people and country with his pragmatic wisdom and experience.
