The textbook entitled "Scientific bases of school physics course", co-authored by Senior Lecturer of the Physics Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Ph.D. in Physics Razim Bayramli has been published.

The purpose of the textbook is to explain the scientific basis of physics, the scientific explanation of various physical phenomena in the teaching process to students by physics teachers in secondary schools in the future, as well as to connect the necessary theoretical models and mathematical expressions with practical facts.

The book reflected the basics of the modern classification of school physics courses - mechanics, molecular physics and thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics, atomic, nuclear and elementary particle physics. In addition, at the end of the topics were given the difficulties that arose during teaching and their explanations.

The resource can be useful for university students, high school teachers and applicants.

It should be noted that the textbook was compiled on the basis of the subject program "Scientific bases of school physics course" for bachelor's degree in "Physics teaching" approved by the relevant order of the Ministry of Education, and was published by the decision of the Educational-Methodical Council of BEU dated 28.02.2020 and the order No. 2419.
