Students of the Ecological Engineering Department of Baku Engineering University have visited the Baku Solid Waste Incineration Plant and Balakhani Industrial Park that operate under "Tamiz Shahar" JSC.

    Employees of "Tamiz Shahar" JSC gave information about the activity of the organization in the excursion organized by the lecturer of Industrial Engineering Department of BEU Etibar Gahramanov and employee of Department on work with enterprises and career Vasif Farajov.  According to the staff, there are five residents of Balakhani Industrial Park, engaged in recycling of engine oils, waste plastic containers, paper and cardboard products, waste plastic materials, sponge wastes. 10 residents registered on 12 production area types will start operating in the near future.   

   Then, during the acquaintance with the Baku Solid Waste Incineration Plant, the students were informed about the role of the plant in reducing environmental impacts. It was noted that the plant, built with the 4th generation technology, was one of the most modern in Eastern Europe.
