Information event has been held for the students of Computer and Information Technologies Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU) about Mobile App Development course. 

An extensive information was provided about the program implemented by ABB Tech Academy, Corporate Social Responsibility project of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, and its essence. It was noted that ABB Tech Academy’s mission was to develop the Azerbaijani IT market in accordance with technology of the future to achieve technological breakthroughs through cultivating new generation of professionals.

Delivering a presentation, Sevda Alibayova, program manager of ABB Innovation Center, Aykhan Hajiyev, a graduate of the ABB Tech Academy project, informed about the establishment of cooperation with more than 130 companies within the framework of the program, the employment of more than 82 percent of the academy graduates, as well as the start of registration for new programs, the rules of admission to the program, requirements and etc.

It was mentioned that those who would like to build their future career in the direction of writing mobile applications can register on the abbtech.az website to join the programs.

Of note, teaching at the academy will be carried out by international experts based on the TELEM methodology of Israel, within the Technest Scholarship Programme of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, with the support of the "bp" company and its partners. Students with high results during the application will be given the opportunity to win a scholarship.
