Teachers and group representatives of Education Faculty of Baku Engineering University (BE$U), as well as members of the Student Trade Union Committee and the Trade Union Committee of the higher educational institution have visited the Second Alley of Martyrs.

First, the dear memory of the sons of the Motherland, who became martyrs for the sake of the independence and territorial integrity of our country, was commemorated with a minute of silence. Later, flowers were laid on the graves of the martyrs, and prayers were recited for their souls.

During the visit, teachers and students of BEU met with the mother and relatives of the martyr of the Patriotic War Tanriverdiyev Nijat Shohrat oglu, and expressed their deep respect to the martyr's family. Martyr's mother Shukran Farug gizi shared her memories about Nijat. After his death, Nijat Tanriverdiyev was awarded "For the Motherland", "For the liberation of Sugovushan" and "Brave warrior" medals according to the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

We bow to the holy souls of all our martyrs who died for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our homeland!
