Nurjan Farzizada, Nigar Gurbanova and Aysu Sarkarova, third year students of the dual degree program (DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Inha University (majoring in Information Technologies) have been successfully represented in the X Korean language speech contest. According to the results of the competition, Nigar Gurbanova took the 3rd place among them.

The event was organized by Baku State University, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan, the Korea Foundation and the Association of Azerbaijan Korean Language Teachers.

Students studying at 5 universities where the Korean language is taught (Baku Engineering University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan Language University, Nakhchivan State University and Azerbaijan University of Technology) participated in the competition.

Of note, Korean language is taught to BEU-INHA DDP students from the first semester of the program.
