The spring semester examination session (offline) for the 2021/2022 academic year continues at Baku Engineering University (BEU). During the session, which started on June 1, 913 exams were organized. A total of about 4,500 undergraduate and graduate students have so far taken part in the exams.
The results of the exam are uploaded by the teachers on the Electronic Information System on the day of the exam.
The Headquarter and Appeals Commission operate in order to ensure transparency and objectivity in the assessment of students' knowledge during the examination session, and promptly eliminate any negative situations that might arise, as well as to monitor the exam session. Students have the right to apply to the commission within 1 day after the exam.
Each appeal is heard by the dean, the head of the department, the teacher who teaches the subject, as well as another teacher who teaches the same subject in the presence of the chairman and members of the commission. Later, the student's answer is read again, and after the teacher of the subject has commented on the student's remark, the commission makes a relevant decision.
The Appeals Commission received a total of 197 appeals. 167 of them were examined by the commission and about 30% were resolved in favor of students.
A total of 1,100 exams are planned to be held during the exam session, which will last until July 5.
