Baku Engineering University (BEU) Technopark and Innovation Center and Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy (AREA) have organized the first awareness raising seminar of the project "Ways of effective use of digital technologies by youth" with the the financial support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The head of the project, Tural Suleymanov, a third-year student majoring in Process Automation Engineering at Faculty of Engineering of BEU, gave detailed information about the project. He spoke about the new knowledge and experience that young people would gain from the theoretical and practical awareness raising seminar on the effective use of “Digital Twin” technologies and Matlab software, which would be organized in three different universities within the project.
The trainer of the seminar, BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Manafaddin Namazov explained the relevance and importance of “Digital Twin” technologies, areas of application in modern industry and future prospects with presentations and videos.
Then, the effective use of Matlab software by “Digital Twin” technology was demonstrated to the participants on the basis of a practical task on a computer, and a sample problem was solved.
At the end of the seminar, the participants were presented with a certificate, along with gifts with the project name and partners' logos.
The so-called seminar will be organized at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and Sumgait State University (SSU).
