A scientific-methodological seminar on "Decent Work and Economic Growth" was organized at the Faculty of Economics of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The event, conducted in accordance with the 8th UN Sustainable Development Goal (Decent Work and Economic Growth), was attended by the faculty's teaching staff and members of the Student Scientific Society.
Lamiya Aliyeva, a lecturer at the Department of Economics, delivered a presentation on "Empirical Analysis of the Relationship Between Emigration Tendencies and Individual Life Satisfaction in Azerbaijan." The presentation analyzed, on a scientific basis, the socio-economic factors affecting migration processes in the country, the assessment of individual welfare levels, and ways to enhance labor market sustainability.
Seminar participants held extensive discussions on the topic and noted that the scientific findings would contribute to the sustainable development of the economy and the efficient utilization of human resources. At the same time, the positive impact of scientific-methodological seminars on the development of students' research skills, strengthening the scientific environment at the faculty, and the formation of new ideas was emphasized.
