A seminar on "Environmental restoration in Azerbaijan" has been held within the framework of the ITACA Erasmus+ KA2 project in which Baku Engineering University (BEU) is a partner.
The research works conducted within the project were discussed in the seminar attended by Narmin Alakbarova, the head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management of BEU, and the academic staff of the Chemical Engineering and Industrial Engineering Departments of the university. Within the framework of the project, which serves the purpose of supporting the solution of existing environmental problems caused by the activity of the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan, the teaching staff of the above-mentioned department of BEU carried out relevant research.
At the seminar, all the researches carried out by other scientific-research institutes in the direction of "Environmental restoration in Azerbaijan" were reviewed, and a broad exchange of ideas was held.
It should be noted that the team led by the coordinator of the project, professor Luca di Palma, representatives of the National Erasmus Office in Azerbaijan and the higher educational institutions that are partners of the project in our country participated in the opening of the seminar hosted by the Baku Higher Oil School.
