Dean of Engineering Faculty at Baku Engineering University (BEU), PhD. in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Huseyn Mirzayev's scientific work entitled "Gears and Applications" has been published in the international e-book "Technological developments in engineering". Published in Turkish in December 2020 in Istanbul, the book consists of 26 chapters, each chapter consists of 20-30 pages, and each chapter is dedicated to a scientific work.

The scientific work authored by BEU scientist H. Mirzayev was included in Chapter 16 (pp. 408-434). The structural diagrams of gear reducers were studied and compared here. The scientific work also presented the methods of optimal distribution of the transmission ratio, a comparative analysis of the methods of calculating the bending of the teeth, a new design of a multi-stage reducer designed for the movement mechanism of elevator doors.

The book will be placed in the libraries of 18 countries through the National Library of Turkey. The book can be downloaded free of charge from the following website of the publishing house:
