The next scientific-methodical seminar on "The role of incubators in the success of a startup" has been held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The dean of the faculty Nasimi Kamalov drew attention to the importance and relevance of the organization of traditional seminars and the topics to which they are devoted.
Later, Tahira Salayeva, a teacher of the Business Administration Department of the faculty, delivered a report on the topic.
The report touched on the concept of startup, the importance of business incubators in the formation of success trajectories of startups, and the issues of supporting innovation and entrepreneurship development. At the same time, the formation of strategy for startups, resources needed for the development of startup ideas and business model, mentoring activities, analysis of market strategy, examples of startups in the context of the United States, where a strong startup ecosystem is developing, were reported.
Speaking about the startup experience in Azerbaijan, the speaker brought the issues of business incubators in our country, gender distribution among startup founders, state support for the development of the startup ecosystem into consideration.
The seminar ended with discussions on the report.
