A scientific-methodical seminar has been held at the English Language Department of the Education Faculty at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

In the seminar dedicated to the topic "How to improve students' speaking skills", discussions were held on ways to encourage students to speak based on motivation during the lesson, as well as on the importance of organizing interactive games, dialogues and debates in increasing students' attention to the lesson.

Head of the English Language Department, assoc. prof. Narmina Aliyeva touched upon various issues related to the topic and explained the ways to overcome the problems with the participants using the interactive method.

A wide range of ideas were exchanged regarding the methods of achieving the development of fluency of students' speech abilities in the seminar, attended by Dean of the Education Faculty, assoc.prof. Elshad Abdullayev, Deputy Dean Kanan Bashirov, Head of the Department of Mathematics, prof. Rakif Efendiyev, as well as the teachers of the English Language Department.

At the event, videos containing activities for the development of various skills were demonstrated.
