The organization of scientific-methodical seminars continues at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The next event was dedicated to the "Emerging trends in supply chain management in the modern era".
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the University, associate professor Mayis Azizov, head of the Business Administration Department Nasimi Kamalov noted the relevance of the topic, as well as the importance of conducting research on the directions forming the main line of such scientific-methodical seminars.
Later, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics Intigam Bashiror, the speaker and employee of the above-mentioned department, delivered a presentation. The presentation covered consumer interests, stages and importance of supply chain in supply chain management, including procurement of raw materials and components, manufacturing and assembly, storage, inventory control, and etc.
Speaking about the macro and micro risks of the supply chain, I. Bashirov explained the possible risks based on specific examples.
