9th grade students of secondary school No. 281 named after V. Mirzaliyev, Surakhani district, Baku, have made a visit to Baku Engineering University (BEU).

First, the schoolchildren were provided with detailed information about the material and technical base of BEU, modern infrastructure, the advantages of the majors taught here in choosing a career and in the labor market, as well as about the wide opportunities created for the effective arrangement of students' leisure time activities.

The students, who were informed about the existence and working principles of numerous laboratories at the university, get acquainted with the Biology laboratory, Computer laboratory, Electronics and ICT laboratory, Physics laboratory, Chemistry and chemical engineering laboratory.

Later, the students visited rich and up-to-date library of BEU based on international experience. It was emphasized that the library, provided with the latest material and technological tools, helped the development of university students in the field of education, research and science.

As part of the excursion, a seminar on "How to prepare for exams" was organized for schoolchildren. Necessary information on the topic was given at the seminar, and students were also guided on choosing the right specialty.

The excursion ended with answering the questions of schoolchildren.
