A lecture on "Construction-architecture acoustics" by acoustic engineer Alexander Fadeyev has been organized for students studying architecture and design specialties at Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The Russian specialist who visited our country at the invitation of the partner company in Azerbaijan - "Cinecon", who created his own workshop in the field of acoustics, expressed his satisfaction to give a lecture in front of the students and gave detailed information about the concept of modern architecture, general knowledge of architecture, architectural acoustics, and its new solutions.
A. Fadeyev noted that a number of problems arise if norms are not followed in buildings of various purposes, especially strong and mixed sound waves create negative situations in the human body such as nervousness, sleep disturbance, distraction, and then hypertension, hearing loss. In this regard, the expert noted the importance of considering architectural standards and acoustic advice during construction.
Emphasizing the importance of noise protection in buildings, the lecturer touched on the use of different construction architectural norms in individual buildings, and the differences in the acoustics of each of them.
Later, he positively assessed German and Finnish standards of acoustics in construction and put forward the idea that every good practice in engineering techniques should be taken as an example. Moreover, when building a building of any purpose on the sides of the highway, the use of sound insulation must be expected to create comfort.
The event ended with the speeches of other experts and answering the students' questions.
