Results of monitoring on BEU-INHA DDP discussed

The monitoring conducted within the framework of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) jointly implemented by Baku Engineering University and INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) has been completed.

BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev met with the academic staff of INHA University conducting the monitoring, discussing the results of the process.

At the meeting, Professor Jeon Tae Joon, Executive Director of the INHA Global Strategy and Initiatives Office, presented information on the initial results of the monitoring. He noted that the interviews conducted with teachers and students of BEU-INHA DDP, as well as the observation of the teaching process, made a positive impression. The students' diligence, interest in learning, and active approach to subjects were assessed as the basis for the successful development of the program. Jeon Tae Joon added that student proposals regarding the wider organization of internship programs would be taken into account and the final report of the monitoring would be submitted to the university administration.

Other members of the delegation also shared their impressions and highly appreciated the students' level of knowledge, their activity in classes, and their asking interesting questions related to their specialties. They also appreciated the modern educational conditions created on the BEU campus, the technical capabilities of the laboratories, especially the further development of the Technopark compared to previous years, and cooperation with industrial enterprises. It was noted that this ecosystem makes a significant contribution to the development of students' practical skills, the application of scientific knowledge in real production, and the implementation of innovative projects.

Rector Yagub Piriyev expressed his satisfaction with the results of the cooperation so far. He also emphasized that work will be consistently continued to continuously improve the quality of the program, bring education into line with international standards, and create wider practical opportunities for students. Stating that the main goal in the implementation of the DDP is to train highly qualified engineers who meet modern challenges, the rector drew attention to the importance of further expanding cooperation not only in the field of education, but also in the areas of scientific research and academic exchange.

At the end of the meeting, members of the INHA delegation were presented with commemorative gifts.
