A scientific seminar has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the participation of specialists invited from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), as well as employees of the Graduate Studies and Doctoral Department. 

The head of the Mechanical Engineering Department of BEU Mahir Bashirov drew attention to the work done to strengthen scientific research at the university, touching upon the importance of the event.

Later, Imamverdi Behbudlu, a doctoral student in the "Materials Technology" specialty, presented his report on the topic "Advantages of vacuum processing outside the furnace in the production of high-quality steels."

Speaking on the topic, the doctoral student's scientific supervisor Professor Arif Mammadov noted the industrial importance of the research and drew attention to the relevance of using the chemical composition and mechanical parameters of steel types in important industrial applications.

AzTU Associate Professor Mukhtar Huseynov, who was invited to the scientific seminar, also emphasized the wide application possibilities of the research results in areas such as automobiles and aviation.

At the seminar, which continued with discussions around the report, a decision was made to allow the doctoral student to undergo certification for the next academic year, taking into account the positive results of his research.
