Representatives of International Bank of Azerbaijan meet with BEU students

   A meeting with representatives of IBA Tech Academy of the International Bank has been organized by the Department on work with enterprises and career at Baku Engineering University.

   At the meeting, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Elchin Suleymanov informed the guests about the activities of the University. He said that the University conducted personal training in engineering, economics and pedagogical majors, most of which were in English. Thus, Elchin Suleymanov also noted that students were always successful in international education programs, Olympiads and projects.

    Zaur Alakbarov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of the International Bank, welcomed the students and thanked the University administration for the meeting. Zaur Alakbarov pointed out that the aim of the Academy was to support the training of IT specialists, taking into account the needs of labor market in our country.  Education at the Academy will be free under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the International Bank of Azerbaijan. CISCO, WiX, SIGMA, as well as DAN.IT Center, which provides partnerships to many global companies in the field of IT education, will also take part in the implementation of this social project by the International Bank of Azerbaijan in the business environment of our country. Admission to the IBA Tech Academy began on September 9 and 100 students will be selected among applicants in 2 directions After submitting an online application, the selection of candidates will be made in 4 stages: registration, logic testing, technical testing and personal interviews. The training will be held in Baku on October 10.

   However, representatives of the DAN.IT Center emphasized that according to the TELEM methodology, applicants to IBA Tech Academy did not necessarily have to be technically educated. It was also noted that it was important for applicants to have adequate logical thinking, show interest in high technology and apply what they had learned in practice. The speakers said that they would help students to become specialists and build a successful career.

    At the end, questions of the students were answered.
