Report meeting of Students Scientific Society(SSS) of Baku Engineering University for 2018/2019 has been held. The event was attended by the University administration and the members of SSS.

   It should be noted that, alongside with the qualitative education at the University, the necessary conditions were created for the training of students as sophisticated staff. Student organizations, social and scientific student clubs function within the University. Each organization and club operates throughout the year in their activity direction, and at the end of the year it reports to the University administration and students. One of the active student organizations is SSS which has been operating since 2017.

   Mahtab Abbasova, chair of BEU SSS, a student of Chemistry Education Department, gave information about the annual works of the organization. She pointed out that the organization members actively participated in local and international conferences and projects, as well as scientific seminars were organized for the students. Making a detailed presentation on the works done, Mahtab Abbasova emphasized that the public was regularly informed about the activities of the organization.

  The Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov positively appreciated the activity of SSS. The rector noted that conditions for the training of sophisticated staff should be created in higher education institutions besides the high level knowledge, and these activities are organized well at BEU.  Moreover, H.Mammadov spoke about the special attention and care being paid by  President Ilham Aliyev to youth.

  Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at BEU, Elchin Suleymanov emphasized the success of the SSS reporting year and congratulated the members of the SSS Board on this occasion.

   At the end of the event, gifts and certificates were presented to the the SSS Board and its active members.
