A report conference has been held within the framework of the "Establishment of Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" project, in which Baku Engineering University (BEU) is a partner.
At the conference held at Baku Business University (BBU), 28 local higher education institutions, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the State Employment Agency, the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Issues, as well as external partners of the project, Lithuania's Mykolo Romero University, Sweden's Royal University of Technology , more than 100 representatives from the EFMD organization of Belgium participated.
The conference was organized in order to listen to the reports of the committees operating within the framework of the project and conduct relevant discussions.
At the event, the coordinator of the project Gulshan Bayramova gave a brief report on the activities carried out.
Then the reports of the chairmen of the committees on educational affairs and quality assurance, scientific affairs, internationalization, work with students and graduates, and strategic development were listened to.
The head of Erasmus Azerbaijan Office Parviz Bagirov spoke about the importance of the implemented international projects in terms of comprehensive development of Azerbaijan's higher education.
Regina Valutytė, vice-rector for academic affairs of Mykolo Romerio University of Lithuania, and Christopher Terrase, director of international projects of the Belgian EFMD organization, also shared their impressions about the project.
