On March 15, the next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The issues on the agenda (organization of teaching, scientific research and educational work at the Faculty of Economics, work done in the direction of relations with enterprises and career development, approval of the rules on the application of the differential salary system for the teaching staff) were brought to the attention of the meeting.

Then, separate reports of the heads of the relevant structures on the mentioned issues were heard.

Extensive discussions were held at the meeting around the speeches, and specific instructions were given for future activities. At the same time, taking into account the proposals and recommendations put forward, the reports were considered satisfactory and the relevant draft decisions were put to a vote and adopted.

Continuing with the discussion of various issues, the Scientific Council also decided to send the documents of Vurgun Gahramanov, an employee of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, to the Academic Council to receive the scientific title of Associate Professor.

Also at the meeting, a number of employees were presented with honorary certificates for their fruitful activities in the socio-political life of the university.
