A meeting has been held to further strengthen relations between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Tashkent International University of Financial Management and Technologies (TIFT) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting discussed issues arising from the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities earlier this year, including teacher and student exchange, implementation of dual degree programs, and implementation of joint scientific and research projects.
BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul provided detailed information about the university. Expressing her belief that the partnership established with TIFT would open up new opportunities in both educational and scientific areas, the Vice-Rector emphasized areas such as training young specialists, development of the academic environment, and joint participation in organizing international scientific conferences within the framework of this cooperation.
At the meeting, TIFT International Relations Department Specialist Asilakhon Ibodullaeva made a presentation on the activities of the higher education institution she represents and cooperation opportunities.
During the discussions, it was reported that one TIFT student is currently studying at BEU as part of an exchange program, and the strengthening of work in this direction was noted.
The meeting was useful in terms of developing mutual cooperation and opened up new opportunities for the implementation of future joint projects.
