Rector meets with students who distinguished in public and social life of BEU

Baku Engineering University (BEU) Rector Yagub Piriyev has met with students who are active members of the university's artistic creativity department's amateur groups.

At the meeting, the rector expressed his gratitude to students studying in various specialties of BEU for their active participation in the university's public, social and cultural events, as well as their participation in creative projects organized among higher education institutions. Assessing as a commendable fact that young people stand out not only with their knowledge and technological skills, but also with their talents, the rector emphasized the existing opportunities at the university to reveal the creative potential of each student.

Yagub Piriyev spoke about the responsibilities of young people in protecting and promoting the cultural heritage of our people, drawing attention to the support and care provided by the state for their comprehensive development, as well as the measures taken. He noted that the foundation for identifying talented young people in our country, ensuring their intellectual potential, and forming a strong personnel policy in line with national interests was laid by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and this policy is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

At the meeting, the rector also spoke about the work to be done at BEU to identify talented, creative young people and further develop their abilities.

Taking an interest in the concerns of the students, including their preparations for the summer exams, Yagub Piriyev gave them a number of recommendations related to education and career and wished each of them success in their future activities.

At the end, BEU students who were distinguished for their activity in the university's social and cultural life were presented with honorary certificates.
