A meeting has been held with students who are continuing their final year of education in the Republic of Korea within the framework of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and INHA University.
The meeting took place within the framework of the BEU delegation's visit to Korea.
Welcoming the students, BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev spoke about the role of dual degree programs in providing the country's strategic sectors with high-level and competitive human resources. Drawing attention to the construction, restoration and reconstruction work carried out in our country, especially in the direction of the revival of the territories liberated from occupation, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Rector expressed his belief that DDP graduates would also play a role in achieving the set goals and meeting the personnel demand.
Touching upon the implementation of the BEU-INHA DDP, the Rector noted that students also have a great responsibility, and that our state will always support their training as strong specialists.
During other speeches at the meeting, the problems faced by students in the educational process were touched upon and instructions were given to solve them. Moreover, students' questions about their daily issues were answered.
It should be noted that within the framework of the DDP based on the 3+1 model, students study for 3 years at BEU and the last year at Inha University. Currently, 83 students continue their education at Inha University. Students' living, educational, travel and insurance expenses are covered within the framework of the "State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023".
