Rector of Baku Engineering University, Professor Havar Mammadov has met with representatives of the "British Council" organization of Great Britain.
At the meeting, the Rector informed the guests about the activity of the higher educational institution, including the academic environment of the university, the organization of the educational process in accordance with the modern requirements, and the existence of an educational system that prefers the English language.
Speaking about the relations established with the higher education institutions of Europe, Russia, Korea, Turkey and international organizations, as well as the projects implemented through various exchange programs in order to improve the content and quality of education, raise the level of professionalism of employees , Havar Mammadov highly valued the establishment and development of cooperation with the British Council.
Later, Nargiz Hajiyeva, director of the British Council organization for Azerbaijan, gave detailed information to the rector about the activities of the institution she represents. He noted that the goal of the organization, which has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1993 and serves as a platform for friendship between the two countries, is to contribute to the field of education by developing cooperation with educational leaders and new partners, sharing the positive experiences of Great Britain.
Nargiz Akbarova, the Examinations Manager of the organization, drew attention to the projects implemented by the "British Council".
At the meeting, a wide range of ideas were exchanged between BMU and the "British Council" regarding the possibilities of future cooperation.
