Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Havar Mammadov has gotten acquainted with the stands of the teams representing the University at the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan festival.
Seven BEU student teams are participating in the TEKNOFEST - 2022 Aerospace and Technology Festival, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, with their innovative projects. TEKNOFEST Festival has been held annually since 2018 with the joint organization of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (the T3 Foundation), headed by Selcuk Bayraktar. The first Teknofest outside Turkey has been held on May 26-29 in Azerbaijan, in the Baku Crystal Hall and the surrounding Seaside Boulevard.
BEU teams "TexnoMex", "RED", "I.Asimov", "BORU", "Curiosity", "CabEx", "Iradus Eco" participated in the festival with their innovative projects and attracted the attention of many visitors and well-known companies with their interesting presentations.
Rector Havar Mammadov talked to the students while getting acquainted with the stands represented by BEU teams and wished them success in the finals of the competition. Noting that the competitions held within the festival (in unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics, satellite modeling and other fields) allow young people to demonstrate their skills, the rector stressed that all this would play an important role in the development of our youth.
Of note, on the last day of the festival, the winning teams will be awarded with various prizes and will have the opportunity to participate in the festival TEKNOFEST Istanbul -2022 in Turkey this year.
