Stockholmers team of Baku Engineering University has been the winner in the final stage of “Stock Pitch” competition that held in SOFAZ among students in accordance with the action plan implemented within the framework of the Fund’s 20th anniversary. The presentations, investment selection and analytical skills of BEU teams were highly appreciated by the jury in the competition which was attended by 63 teams from 11 universities. I place was awarded 5000 AZN.

   The Rector of Baku Engineering University, Professor Havar Mammadov met with members of the winner team, and with the students of Business Administration Department Eldar Nabizade, Durdana Nazarli, Nigar Gulamova and Reyhan Sharifli.  Havar Mammadov congratulated the students and informed them about the conditions created for the youth in our country, as well as the role of education in human life. The Rector awarded the students Honorary Certificate.

   Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Bayram Huseynzada, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Mayis Azizov participated in the meeting.

   The students gave detailed information about the essence of the competition to the Rector. They noted that "Stock pitch" was a summary of the stock investment idea. The reason of their victory was the abilities of the students to pick a stock conforming to instructions for a stock selection, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on that stock, and craft a persuasive pitch.

    At the end, memorable picture was taken and the students thanked the University administration for their attention.
