At the 16th congress of Azerbaijani teachers dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, "Heydar Aliyev scholarship" was presented to students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) who showed high achievements in education.

Zahra Guliyeva, who was awarded the scholarship, is the student of Mathematics and Informatics Education Department of the university, Mais Shabanov Computer Engineer, and Murad Ibrahimov is a student of the BEU-INHA dual degree program of information technologies.

At the congress, "Heydar Aliyev scholarship" established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was presented to a total of 100 students who studied in full-time at the bachelor's level of higher education and had high achievements in education.

The scholarship is paid by the Ministry of Science and Education at the expense of the state budget in the amount of 3000 manats.
