"BoostCamp 7.0" project organized by BEU students launched

The opening ceremony of the "BoostCamp 7.0" educational project organized by students at Baku Engineering University (BEU) was held.

Mayis Azizov, head of the science and innovation department of BMU, Isa Gasimov, director of the Technopark, Etibar Seyidzade, Ali Hasanov, Elmeddin Huseynov, head teachers of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies of the Faculty of Engineering expressed their views on the project.

In the speeches, the "BoostCamp" initiative, which has already become a tradition, was highly valued and the importance of the project was emphasized, including the strengthening and development of the knowledge gained by the students, and the role in improving the skills aimed at the requirements of the labor market.

Then the manager of the project supported by Innovation and Digital Development Agency Jasur Eynullayev, coordinator Lamiya Mirzamammadova, head Abdullah Mahmudov and mentor Murad Aliyev gave detailed information about "BoostCamp 7.0". It was noted that the project, which was launched in 2017, aims to effectively organize students' winter vacation, and at the same time, improve skills in the field of information technologies. Among the 150 students who applied to the "BoostCamp 7.0" project organized for I and II year students, 50 people were selected and won the right to participate. These students are expected to participate in the training of experienced mentors in 2 different fields in 5 different groups during 7 school days, as well as in the seminars of professionals in the field.

After the event, classes on the project were started in the ICT laboratory of the university.
