Baku Engineering University (BEU) Distance Education and Quality Assurance Center has started to develop a Quality Management System in order to improve the quality of existing activities, services and processes in accordance with the strategic plan of the University. The main goal is to further improve the quality of education, science, management and other areas.
In order to increase the efficiency of work in this direction, a Quality Assurance Commission was established at BEU, which would operate on a voluntary basis.
The Distance Education and Quality Assurance Center, together with the Quality Assurance Commission established to support the multifaceted works, will determine quality indicators in all departments of the University, establish and improve quality control mechanisms, measure the quality of existing activities, services and processes, monitor and evaluate the quality . Moreover, a number of necessary activities will be carried out, such as harmonization of documentation with ISO standards, implementation of the University activities, services and processes in accordance with ISO standards, effective implementation of the Quality Management System, preparation of proposals for improving existing activities, services and processes.
