Fadahat Mammadov, professor of the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics in Prague, has given a lecture to the students of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The lecture was attended by first-year students of Departments of Electrical engineering and Electrotechnical engineering, as well as Process automation engineering.
The lecture touched on important topics such as detectors that work with nuclear energy and determine the size, location and time of detection of particles at the nano-level. Furthermore, detectors are widely used in various fields of science and technology, including the detection of cracks and voids in the depths of metals, and in medicine were explained in detai.
A discussion was held around the lecture, which was met with interest.
In the end, the professor clarified the questions that interested the students.
