Presentation of BEU employee included among best scientific works at International Astronautical Congress

Professor of Physics Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sciences Vali Huseynov has participated in the 73rd International Astronautical Congress held in Paris, France.

More than 6,500 representatives from about 90 countries attended the event organized by the International Astronautical Federation and hosted by the National Centre for Space Studies. Over 3,500 scientific reports, including more than 800 interactive presentations, were heard at the Congress.

V. Huseynov gave a scientific report on "The possibility of detecting cosmic relic neutrino signals and the door to building a relic neutrino telescope" at the congress. The scientific results of BEU employee were met with great interest by the participants of the event.

At the congress, V. Huseynov also made an interactive presentation ("Energy enhancement of cosmic relic neutrinos"). In his second scientific work, the scientist discovered the physical conditions under which the energy of cosmic relic neutrinos, having extremely low energy, is enhanced. Furthermore, it was proved by scientific research that it was possible to amplify the energy of cosmic relic neutrinos to hundreds of gigaelectronvolts and to transfer the energy to very large cosmic distances using cosmic relic neutrinos. This scientific presentation of V. Huseynov was selected from among more than 800 scientific works reviewed by the Program Committee of the congress and included in the list of the best 80 works.

Of note, the next, 74th congress of the International Astronautical Federation will be held in Azerbaijan. Baku hosted this prestigious congress for the first time in 1973, and after 50 years, the global space community will come to our country again.
