Baku Engineering University (BEU) has organized a traditional orientation day for students admitted to the bachelor's degree for the 2022/2023 academic year.

At the events organized by the faculties of Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences of the university, the dear memory of our heroic sons who became martyrs as a result of Armenian provocation was commemorated with a minute of silence. Later, Afar Alifov, dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, Mayis Azizov, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, deputy deans and other employees of the faculties took the floor.

University life, the necessary, guiding information and procedures within the university were explained to the students, as well as the necessary information for the correct, efficient and possible organization of their activities in the academic year was provided. Emphasizing the important role of student organizations in the development of youth, the activity of BEU Student Youth Organization, Student Scientific Society, Student Trade Union Committee, as well as student clubs and associations was discussed.

During separate presentations, first-year students were given extensive information about BEU electronic systems, including the Student Information System (SIS), and the working principle of these systems was visually demonstrated.

In the speeches, the students' rights and internal university disciplinary rules were also taken into account, and strict compliance with these rules was recommended.

At the end of the meetings, which contained a lot of information and advice, the students were wished success in the new academic year.
