Open Lesson Dedicated to "Constitution and Sovereignty Year" Held

An open lesson on patriotism has been organized for students at Baku Engineering University (BEU) within the framework of "Constitution and Sovereignty Year".

During the open lesson conducted by Elnur Najiyev, chief lecturer of the Department of General Subjects, attention was drawn to Azerbaijan's path to freedom and independence, historical moments of our people's struggle for statehood, and the exceptional role of the Constitution in state-citizen relations. It was noted that our Constitution, adopted 30 years ago, and our Victory in the Patriotic War, the 5th anniversary of which is being marked, are glorious chronicles and proud pages of our independent statehood.

During the lesson, emphasis was placed on Azerbaijan's further economic development after gaining independence, creation of a strong national army, enhancement of military potential, as well as the liberation of Karabagh from Armenian occupation thanks to the unwavering unity of the people and the complete restoration of the Constitution's legal force throughout all territories of our country.

The lesson also highlighted the restoration and construction work being carried out in the liberated territories, the process of people's return to their native lands, as well as the duties that currently fall upon young people living in a free, democratic, victorious, and strong country. They were advised to protect our sovereignty, always safeguard our lands, remain loyal to national identity and statehood traditions, treat Azerbaijan's state symbols and national-spiritual values with respect, and successfully represent our country in the world.
