The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has conducted an online training on the effective organization of distance education. The main topics of the training were “Google Classroom LMS (Learning Management System)” and the use of “Google Meet” programs in online classes.

Dean of the Faculty, assoc.prof. Mayis Azizov made an opening speech at the training.

Deputy Dean Elsevar Ibadov gave detailed information about the effective use of the Classroom platform in the training, the development of the necessary headings in the classroom on the digital platform, the use of the link between “Google Meet” and “Google Calendar”. Moreover, detailed information was provided on the possibility of adding online lessons to the Classroom through video recording, attendance on the platform and the organization of exams.

The questions of the participants were answered and various discussions were held at the event.

It should be noted that the training was attended by 61 academic staff of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Moreover, lecturers who were unable to participate in the training were provided with a video of the training.
