An information session for students about this year's competitions has been organized at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the participation of Ahmet Kose, the head of the "Bilim Baku" Center and the official representative of "TEKNOFEST" in Azerbaijan.
At the session, BEU vice-rector for science and innovation issues Agasi Melikov touched upon the importance of technological festivals for the future of young people, recalling the successes of BEU students at the world's largest space, aviation and technology festival "TEKNOFEST". The vice-rector emphasized that the information session would be useful for those who want to realize their thoughts and ideas in the technological field, expressing his belief in the victory of BEU students preparing for the upcoming competitions.
Later, Ahmet Kose spoke about the history of "TEKNOFEST", the growing interest in the competition between 2018-2024, and drew attention to the dynamics in the number of different countries and teams participating in the festival. Stating that Azerbaijan is in the forefront in terms of the number of winning teams in this festival, Ahmet Kose spoke extensively about the categories of “TEKNOFEST” that are open to every project, and the opportunities the competition opens up for young people. He also provided detailed information about “TEKNOFEST-2025” to be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in May, its subsequent stages, and the rules for applying to the competition.
