The next meeting of the Scientific Council has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The Chairman of the Council, Rector Yagub Piriyev brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the meeting participants.

Later, in accordance with the agenda, reports on the issues of “Preparation for the spring semester examination session and its organized conduct”, “Organization of the Summer School”, as well as “Evaluation of the results of questionnaire surveys” were heard.

Extensive discussions were held around each report, and taking into account the proposals and opinions of the members of the Scientific Council, the reports were considered satisfactory.

The meeting, which continued with the discussion of various issues, adopted relevant decisions on international program accreditation for a number of specialties, changing the name of the Disciplinary Commission, and etc. Moreover, rector Yagub Piriyev gave instructions and recommendations to the heads of relevant structures.

At the meeting, the Head of the Science and Innovation Department Mayis Azizov, who is celebrating his jubilee, was also presented with an honorary diploma for his fruitful activity in the public and social life of the university.
