The next meeting of the Scientific Council of Baku Engineering University (BEU) was held on April 30.

First, the issues on the agenda were brought to the attention of the members - the status of the work done with educational and student youth organizations at BEU, the organization of teaching, scientific research and educational work at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction.

Then, reports were presented by the heads of the relevant structures. The reports listened to were considered satisfactory, taking into account certain proposals and recommendations.

The meeting, which continued with the discussion of various issues, also considered the issue of determining the amount of annual tuition fees for doctoral students and dissertation students. After extensive discussions, a decision was made to determine the amount of annual tuition fees for doctoral students and dissertation students whose documents were accepted for doctoral and dissertation levels of higher education starting from the 2024 calendar year.

Later, at the meeting, the issues of sending the documents of Shamsi Nasirov, an employee of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy, Khanlar Heydarov, an employee of the Department of State and Municipal Administration, Murad Isgandarov, an employee of the Department of Business Administration, and Elsever Ibadov, an employee of the Department of Finance and Accounting, to the Academic Council for receiving the scientific title of Associate Professor were voted on separately and accepted.
