The next educational and methodological meeting of Accounting and Audit Department has been held at Baku Engineering University. Assoc.prof. Firudin Sultanov, Head of the Department, noted that special attention should be paid to the sequence of topics while preparing the syllabi of the subjects taught in the department and syllabi of major and non-major subjects should be different. He also emphasized the importance of a general explanation of the topics. F.Sultanov spoke about the selection of the topic reflecting the current economic development in our country and carrying out scientific research in order to strengthen the scientific potential of the department.

  Speaking at the event, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences PhD. in Economics Elsever Ibadov pointed out the significance of the issues on the agenda.

  At the end, discussions were held on improving the syllabus of Accounting Department. Hence, it was decided to adapt the syllabus of this subject to programs taught at universities around the world.
