According to the Order of the Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Atraba Gul has been appointed to the position of vice-rector for international relations of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
Rector of BEU Yagub Piriyev introduced the new vice-rector to the staff. The rector touched on the important points related to the effective organization and expansion of BEU relations in the field of international cooperation, and emphasized the duties of the new vice-rector in connection with the implementation of the set goals.
On her part, Atraba Gul noted that she will justify the high trust shown to her and will not spare his efforts in the direction of the development of the university in the international field.
It should be noted that Atraba Gul worked in the field of education for many years. She graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) with honors at the bachelor's and master's levels. In different years, she worked as a teacher, head teacher and headed the department at the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology of AUL. At the University of Essex, which is one of the most prestigious public universities in England, Atraba Gul repeatedly conducted research, made scientific collaborations, and received intensive training. She lectured in front of a foreign audience at the most prestigious and well-known Italian university, La Sapenza. Atraba Gul is the author of more than 50 scientific articles, textbooks, textbooks, subject programs. More than ten scientific articles have been published in prestigious journals included in international databases such as "Web of Science"/ "Scopus", Copernicus. She is a doctor of philosophy in philology. She has presented articles and theses at many international conferences, congresses and symposia.
A.Gul has been working at BEU since 2017. Until 2019, she was the director of the BEU School of Languages. Prior to her new position, she worked as an associate professor and head of the Department of Foreign Languages. She is the chairman of the University Women's Council.
For her effective activities in the development of science and education, and his high achievements in the field of training and education of the young generation, she was awarded the badge "Advanced Education Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan" by the Ministry of Science and Education.
She is married with two children.
