Work on enriching the library fund of Baku Engineering University (BMU) and providing it with the most modern teaching aids is being continued. The next step in this direction was taken at the expense of funds allocated by the State Oil Fund within the framework of the international dual diploma program between BMU and INHA University of the Republic of Korea.
Thus, 11 new books (names and authors of books), which are a valuable resource for students, researchers, and scientists, were bought and handed over to the BEU library. The included academic books will mainly be used for Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department.
Currently, there are about 106,000 books and journals in the library fund of BEU, which meet modern standards and are based on international experience. The library of BEU, which provides students free of charge with textbooks and teaching aids used in the subjects taught in the teaching process, is also a member of the electronic portals "Web of Science" and "EBSCOhost".
Of note, the Dual Degree Program between BEU and Inha University of the Republic of Korea is implemented from the 2020/2021 academic year. The program aims to train a new generation of specialists in the field of engineering, taking advantage of the most advanced scientific achievements, innovative teaching and learning technologies, and at the same time to modernize the content and quality indicators of the higher education system with international dual diploma programs.
