Named scholarships awarded to BEU students

Baku Engineering University (BEU) students have been awarded a named scholarship by the Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC). 

At the event held at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the ATUC, 100 students of the country's universities who have distinguished themselves in education and are also active in the student trade union movement were awarded named scholarships, and 5 of them are BEU students.

The BEU students who received the award are Nihat Suleymanli majoring in “Power Engineering”, Nadir Dashdiyev in “Electrical and Electronics Engineering”, Kamran Mammadov in “Chemical Engineering”, Rashad Aliyev in “Electrical and Electronics Engineering”, and Ali Huseynov in “Accounting”.

The “Named Scholarship” project has been implemented by the Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Republican Committee since 1995. This project, which supports the state's youth policy, makes significant contributions to strengthening students' social protection, protecting their labor rights, developing their potential, and increasing their enthusiasm for science and education.
