A mini football tournament has been held among the students with the support of the Baku Engineering University (BEU) Sports Department, Student Trade Union Committee and Sports Club. The competition took place among the student who was admitted to the Pedagogy, Education, and Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculties in the academic year 2019/2020.

   The main purpose of the tournament is to arrange leisure time activities for the students effectively, and train well-prepared players who will represent BEU in inter-university football competitions.

    The mini football tournament was held in a circular system with 4 groups and 6 teams in each. The games continued for a month.

    Teams that held I, II and III places were awarded with cups and honorary diplomas by the organizers

    It should be noted that Rauf Aliyev refereed the competition. Two players Rushdu Mammadli and Matin Bakhshaliyev, who showed high performance in the tournament, were involved in the BEU football team.
