Baku Engineering University (BEU) students have met with Professor of Oklahoma University Xingru Wu.

The meeting took place within the framework of the initiative of the university and the organization of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Participating in the event, Ramina Murshudova, an education specialist of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan gave general information about the educational opportunities in the country, including scholarship programs for master's studies, application conditions for the programs.

Later, Professor Xingru Wu made a presentation on choosing the right master's program for the audience aiming for master's education in applied engineering in the United States, and the collection of relevant documents for applying to the program. Sharing his personal experience with the students, the professor gave relevant directions in his speech regarding the determination of career goals and interests, as well as the allocation of space for research and laboratories at the next level of education.

Speaking about the advantages and opportunities provided by educational programs in the United States, Xingru Wu also provided detailed information to the participants about the School of Petroleum and Geological Engineers at the University of Oklahoma. The guest emphasized that the above-mentioned school was among the best educational institutions in the world.

At the end of the meeting, which continued in the form of a question-and-answer session with the audience, gifts were presented to the guests.
