Educational seminar has been organized for the students of Finance Department at Baku Engineering University (BEU). 

Head of Finance Department, PhD. in Economics Fuzuli Aliyev noted the importance of the seminar. 

Assoc.prof. Elchin Suleymanov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, delivered a presentation on “Budget system of Azerbaijan and the analysis of the state budget for 2020". Vice-Rector stressed that the goals of the state budget were the redistribution gross domestic product, state regulation and stimulation of the economy, creation of centralized funds, control over its use, solution of economic, social and other strategic programs, problems. 

E.Suleymanov gave information about the budget classification and its elements, functional and economic classification of budget expenditures. Emphasizing the budget system of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Vice-Rector noted that this system consisted of the state budget and finance budget. He brought macroeconomic forecasts for 2020 and the next 3 years to the attention. Moreover, Elchin Suleymanov touched upon the information about state budget allocations for education, science and health in 2020.

       At the end, the questions of students were answered.
