Meeting with employees of “eManat” at BEU

Under the organization of the Department on work with entreprises and career of Baku Engineering University (BEU), the representatives of “eManat” has met with the students majoring in Computer and Information Technologies. 

The meeting aims to acquaint 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students majoring in Computer and Information Technologies with the company and its relevant programs, as well as to support students, who underwent an internship program at the organization, in their working lives after graduation.   

Gunel Gachayeva, HR manager of the company, provided information about the organization she represented. Noting that the company was established under the name "Modenis LLC," G. Gachayeva pointed out that it entered the Azerbaijani payment market in 2013 with eManat brand. The company currently operates a network of self-service cash payment kiosks and the eManat + e-wallet/online payment platform.

Azar Akbarov, the company's Business Development Specialist, briefed the participants on the emanat.az website and eManat + IOS / Android mobile applications. He emphasized that users could quickly and easily make various payments from e-wallet or bank card account. Furthermore, he added that users could also easily pay in favor of more than 200 service providers such as utilities, mobile phone operators, internet, cable television, entertainment, banking etc.

Later, detailed information about the internship program was brought to the attention of students. Of note, the internship program will be held among universities, and students who meet the criteria set by the company will be involved in internship at the head office of the company and other organizations from May 1. Candidates who successfully pass the competition at the end of the internship will be provided with jobs.

The event was followed by answering students' questions.

At the meeting, BEU students (2nd year student majoring in Computer Technologies Joshgun Hasanov, 3rd year majoring in Information Technologies Rafael Salimov, 3rd year student majoring in Information Technologies Urfat Abbasov) were awarded prizes for being active in answering questions from company representatives.

The meeting ended with a discussion of prospects for mutual cooperation.
