The next meeting has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) within the "Get to know our universities" project initiated by the Bilasuvar District Education Department.

The main purpose of the meeting is to guide applicants in choosing the right higher education institutions, to form the initial impression of future students about the university, to acquaint students with the educational opportunities and tuition fees of the institution, as well as to play an enlightening role in the existing infrastructure.

Leading consultant of Bilasuvar District Education Department Narmin Mammadli made an opening speech. She thanked the rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadova and the head of the Bilasuvar District Education Department Agshin Bagirov for their support in organizing the event.

Bahman Mammadov (Gudsi), a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at BEU, first gave his recommendations to the applicants in his introductory speech. Making a detailed presentation about the university, B.Mammadov shared extensive information about the history of BEU, the specialties taught and newly created, as well as the conditions created for students.

B.Mammadov informed the participants about the activities of BEU, modern material and technical base, electronic information systems, rich electronic library, Technopark and laboratories.

Touching upon the international relations of the university, B.Mammadov spoke about BEU's bilateral relations with foreign universities, the introduction of a dual degree program with Inha University of South Korea, as well as exchange programs.

A video reflecting all the opportunities of the University was shown at the event.

The meeting continued with answering the questions of the applicants.
